TAKE YOUR PRODUCTIVITY TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL!

Network Detective Reporter is your ticket to increased productivity through pre-scheduled data collection, and automatic generation and delivery of your IT Assessment reports.

All you need is a single Reporter subscription for unlimited use, “end-to-end” automation of recurring IT Assessments for all your clients. Reporter includes our Remote Data Collector technology, which allows you to remotely select and pre-schedule the deployment of any Network Detective data scanner right from inside the Network Detective application.

You can also have Reporter automatically generate your choice of Network Detective reports and deliver them via email to anyone on your distribution list. Set it up once, and let Reporter do all the work. It’s like having a skilled admin on staff dedicated to creating reports for you and your clients but at around $8.00 per day, just a fraction of what it would cost you to pay someone to do it.

Reporter is a must-have add-on to boost your productivity, whether you order just one of our modules or have them all. To order Reporter, risk free, use the Upgrade button from within the Network Detective application or contact your account rep for more details. If you do not know your account rep simply email sales at sales@rapidfiretools.com.

No Need To Dispatch A Tech To Do An Assessment

All of your Reporter client sites can be centrally controlled from inside your Network Detective application. There’s no more need to send a technician on site to collect the data, which saves you money. No more manual downloading of the scan data either, and no need to go through the manual report generation process for each assessment, saving you even more time. And since there’s no limit to the number of scans and reports, you can do more assessments for your clients, more frequently. That means more incremental change reports, more frequent security scans, and more updated reports whenever you need them.

Works Great As A Physical Appliance or Virtual Machine

The appliance component of Reporter is purchased as a complete software download (OS included) that can be installed on your own Hyper-V or VMware enabled system. The low monthly subscription cost for Reporter is the same whether you download and install it on a physical server you already own or upload it as a virtual machine in the cloud.

Don’t have a spare server with the right specs? For an additional monthly charge, you can add a small form factor server to your subscription and get the Reporter software appliance pre-installed and ready to plug ‘n play. We fully support the hardware and will repair or replace it, if needed, forever!

Step 3. Pick The Reports You Want To Automatically Generate

From Network Detective schedule the time and frequency of the scans and which of the reports you want Reporter to automatically generate. You have complete flexibility to create a fresh set of reports with each scan, or just generate selective reports that you want to regularly review internally or with your clients. All of the automatically-generated reports will be saved directly to the Reporter appliance, but you also can specify whether you want the reports to be emailed to you or your client as an attachment, as a link, or uploaded into your existing Network Detective cloud storage.

GET THE IT ASSESSMENT-AS-A-SERVICE BLUEPRINT
Based on industry best practices, we’ve created a set of three levels of recurring IT Assessment services that you can deliver with Reporter -- each tailored to meet the needs of different types of clients. And, to help guide you in setting up these services, we’ve created three “blueprints” that tell you exactly which scans to run, when to run them, which reports to generate and what to do with them. Click here to watch the webinar and get the blueprint.

SO MANY REASONS TO AUTOMATE YOUR ASSESSMENTS

You can run weekly security reports for internal consumption as well as weekly Management Plans to keep tabs on what’s been fixed and to document new issues. You can run monthly Client Risk reports to give your customers along with Quarterly Business Reviews for effective communications.

YOUR CLIENTS' NETWORKS ARE ALWAYS CHANGING
Just because you performed an IT assessment once on a client network, doesn’t mean there’s no need to do it again. In fact, if you aren’t doing a basic network and security assessment scan at least monthly, you are doing your clients, and yourself, a disservice.

Changes are happening to your clients’ networks all the time. New devices get attached to, and removed from, the network; software gets randomly added to different machines; trusted visitors get access to the network; employees get hired and fired. You can’t rely on your clients to keep track of all these changes, and anyone of these actions could create an internal security or performance issue. Ongoing communications that let your customers see the value they’re receiving from your managed services. They’ll appreciate the attention and you will create a ton of good will.

The time you save running just one automated assessment per month for each of your clients will pay for this tool. Compare the cost of having your least expensive technical resource do this work with the low monthly cost of Reporter. That resource can be productively working on client issues while your Reporter is diligently performing your Network Detective assessments.

The Reporter software appliance is an add-on to any other Network Detective subscription you have. You can order it that way and install it as a Hyper-V or VMware virtual machine, or add a physical server to your subscription and we’ll ship it to you with Reporter pre-installed. If you’re an existing customer, log into your Network Detective application and click on the Upgrade button in the top right side of the main screen. New customers can order Reporter directly from this web site order page along with any other Network Detective module. What’s the difference between Connector and Reporter?

Client-Connector is designed to enable you to automate the running of Network Detective scans using custom scripts that you write and deploy through your RMM tool or Windows Scheduler, and it doesn’t automate report generation or delivery. Reporter, on the other hand, includes our Remote Data Collector technology that allows you to schedule the scans directly from inside Network Detective without the need for custom scripting, and you can also schedule the automatic generation and delivery of reports.

If I already have Connector and I get Reporter, do I still need Connector?

No. Reporter eliminates the need for Connector. If you have had your Connector for less than three months, we can credit you the full cost of Connector toward your purchase of a Reporter subscription. Your credit will be applied to the regular price of Reporter and cannot be combined with any special promotions or discounts.

Are there any limitations to the number of client sites or reports?

No! Your annual Reporter subscription permits use at an unlimited number of client sites served by your office, and you can run as many internal network scans, and generate as many reports as you like. There is, however, a cap on the number of IP Addresses that you can schedule for external vulnerability scans through Reporter. The cap is set at 100 IP Addresses per day, and that’s to ensure that all users get their reports done in a timely fashion. If you need to schedule more than that you can subscribe to a second reporter.

What if I want to use Reporter to run a Network scan or generate a report from a module that I don’t currently have?

Only the Network Detective scans and reports from modules that you have active subscriptions for will be available in Reporter. However, as soon as you subscribe to new modules, the scans and reports associated with those subscriptions can be immediately scheduled with Reporter.

If I cancel my subscription, what happens to the actual scans and reports I generated with Reporter?

As long as you have downloaded the past scans or reports from the Reporter you are cancelling, you’ll continue to have full access to them.

If I purchase a physical server from you, can I return it? And if so, who pays for return shipping?

Yes, you can return a server you purchased from us, providing that you notify us within 30 days of purchase and obtain an RMA. You’ll pay for the return shipping, and receive a refund of the purchase price after we inspect and test the device to ensure that it has not been damaged.
