Organization Discovery Agent
The Organization Discovery Agent installs as a Windows Service that collects information for individual computers (workstations or servers) on a schedule or on-demand. The local computer scan data collected can be imported into Compliance Manager Sites where it can be used as part of the Compliance Manager Technical Review Assessment and reporting.
Additional Information
The Discovery Agents can be installed on any individual machine – even if not attached to a centralized network or exposed externally to the Internet – and configured to run scheduled local computer scans and feed the results back to an Organization containing a Compliance Manager GRC Site.
Once installed, the Discovery Agent can be managed directly from an Organization’s Discovery Agents UI. The Discovery Agent comes packaged as a MSI file and can be installed on any Windows computer interactively.
