Create Regular Progress Reports To Document Trends
Clients typically aren’t aware of the constant threats and risks that MSPs identify and remediate, so they don’t completely grasp the full impact of the MSPs’ efforts. Network Detective’s Progress Reports allow MSPs to demonstrate the value of ongoing services with quantifiable data. The report showcases an MSP’s positive impact with period-to-period resolution details, progress scores, and other related metrics.
The report’s information is delivered through easy-to-follow charts that illustrate the continuous improvements made to the client’s security profile. MSPs can customize the documents by including or excluding sections, changing text and adding boilerplates. The Progress Report includes:
Risk Report Card
User & Computer Growth Trends
Antivirus and Anti-Spyware Coverage
Scorecard Improvement Details
External Vulnerabilities Details
* The Progress Report requires subscriptions to the Network & Security Modules as well as Reporter.
Client Networks are Always Changing
Performing an IT assessment once on a client network doesn’t mean there’s no need to do it again. In fact, if you aren’t doing a basic network and security assessment scan at least monthly, you are doing your clients, and yourself, a disservice. Changes are happening to networks all the time:
New devices get attached to, and removed from, the network
Software gets randomly added to different machines
Trusted visitors get access to the network
Employees get hired and fired
You can’t rely on your clients to keep track of all these changes, and anyone of them could create an internal security or performance issue. The solution? Let Reporter run regularly scheduled scans and expose the results through InDoc!
The time your techs will save by having this assessment data at their fingertips, wherever and whenever they need it, will make them very, very happy indeed.
Custom Reports Feature
Custom Reports allows users to select which sections of pre-defined reports they want to generate. MSPs can further tailor the reports by adding custom boilerplate text to Reporter templates. By adding custom language to a template, you no longer have to edit each report after it’s generated.
This feature allows MSPs to add or remove sections based on their client’s needs. For example, some clients may want to review only the Discovery Tasks, Risk Score, and Assessment Summary sections of the Network Assessment Risk Report. Others may prefer to skip the Risk Score and move into the Issues Summary section.
MSPs can use this feature to provide clients with a personal touch, adding layers of robust detail and demonstrating that they understand what their clients want out of the reports. With Custom Reports, users can deliver more relevant and compelling reports for each of their individual clients.
Get the IT Assessment-as-a-Service Blueprint
Based on industry best practices, we’ve created a set of three levels of recurring IT Assessment services that you can deliver with Reporter, each tailored to meet the needs of different types of clients. To help guide you in setting up these services, we’ve created three “blueprints” that tell you exactly which scans to run, when to run them, which reports to generate and what to do with them.
